The 6 DAC is our award-winning high quality amplifier and digital to analogue converter offering 57 Watts per channel. Its built-in digital to analogue converter reads the highest 24-bit files and transforms them into the music your speakers love in high definition. As well as including the 6 DAC in your hi-fi system, you can use it to play music directly from your computer or plug it into your TV or satellite box. This amplifier even lets you play one source in one room and another in a second room. The 6 DAC delivers surprising audio performance and value because it is based on the advanced pre amplifier circuitry from the DAC XP Signature; benefiting from a ‘trickle down’ of our most advanced technology.

The bi-wire output of the 6 DAC gives a full 57 Watts into 6 ohms. The power supply is a high current design that uses two transformers to completely separate the digital control stages from the sensitive audio signals.

The 6 DAC features a high performance 24/192 DAC bringing optical and coaxial inputs and a driverless USB connection, allowing plug and play connectivity to a PC or laptop.

Six analogue inputs, a high quality headphone amplifier, Zone 2 and pre amplifier outputs gives the 6 DAC outstanding flexibility for connecting to a wide variety of audio devices.

The microprocessor controlled operating system in the 6 DAC allows extensive programming of many functions within the unit. Input naming, differing display readouts and input volume matching across all sources are just some of the possibilities.
